2-20-2022 Deb posts Fortune's video for my feedback

  1. Fortune could be REALLY sharp in the ring, but there needs to be some changes made.

Your pace heeling her is her Slow, nor normal..you need to pick up your heeling Pace with her consistently.

On Figure 8, she lags on outside turn. Have you trained her on Heeling Stick as that is one way to fix this. Then other is prong collar, but I'd rather see you invest time doing Heeling Stick work as that is something you should be doing with ALL your FC graduate dogs. And Heeling Stick work transfers over to field work easily.

On the Stand, not sure why you are doing Alternative Stand 🤔, instead of Kick-Back Stand mechanics? The Kick back is what you want for ring trials. Also, when you leave her, you did not do the 'set' of her shoulders? And you would have lost points in the ring for leaving when you are NOT in Heel position. When you do Return to Your.Dog, are you stepping into Heel position with your right foot, then closing with your left foot? That stabilizes a learning dog to Stay in that position AND it also sets them up for the footwork needed for Utility Moving Stand and Signal Stand.
